Delete Partition:

If you want to delete a partition, the Delete button will enable you to do so.

1.	Select a partition from the list at the top right of the Partitions window.
  
NOTE:  You cannot delete the startup partition unless you start up from a floppy.

2.	Click the Delete… button.

WARNING:  Deleting a partition will erase all of the data contained on that partition.

3.	A password will be asked for, if necessary.

4.	A confirmation dialog will appear.  Click OK, and the partition will be deleted, unless a file on that partition is currently open.  In that case, a dialog will appear informing you of this.  If this dialog does appear, you must Quit from all applications and repeat steps 1 - 4 above to delete this partition.

5.  	When the partition is deleted, its name will disappear from the list in the Partitions window.  Repeat steps 1 - 4 to delete more partitions.  Click Done when you are finished.
